Don’t worry, our auditions are designed to be supportive experiences where we help you discover which program will challenge and inspire you most. Whether you’re trying out for your first competitive group or moving up to a more advanced ensemble, our instructors are there to guide you through the process and help you succeed.

Cadets & Slam
Cadets & Slam auditions happen October 21st and 23rd from 5-7pm. Select an audition time for Cadets or Slam here. In addition to the Cadets & Slam audition music, you will need to know the following exercises:
- 8s
- 8/16
- Accent tap
- 16 accent
- 16 timing
- Dble beat
- Gallop
Impact & Pursuit
Impact auditions will be held on November 4th from 6-8:30pm. Please select an audition time ASAP.
Pursuit will hold an audition camp on Saturday, October 25th from 5-9pm. Callback camp will be held November 1st from 5-9pm, by invitation only. Follow along with our Pursuit Interest Group on Facebook.
This audition information applies to both groups:
If you are auditioning for the Front Ensemble, prepare the front ensemble audition packet plus:
- 1-Octave Scales & Arpeggios – C Major, Bb Major – 160 bpm
- Green #1 – B-flat Major, F Natural Minor – 120 bpm
- ⅞ Block Chords – 120 bpm
- Solo/Excerpt – 1-2 minutes of your choice
If you want to participate as Battery, prepare the battery audition packet plus:
- Flam Jam — 104 bpm
- Solo/Excerpt – 1-2 minutes of your choice
